WELCOME TO MURDOCK FORD

​Murdock’s is the longest standing family-owned Ford Dealership in South Australia.
The partnership with Ford spans some 100 years. Elford Edwin Murdock (E.E.) started the business in 1920 selling new Fords, Essex, Studebaker and Hudson cars, motorcycles and other mechanical repairs.

On 1st July 1925, he took on the Ford franchise and from then on handled Ford products exclusively.

The tradition continued first with Elford’s sons, John and Roland then grandson Michael who was the Dealer Principal in 1988 until 1 April 2022 when his daughter, Lexie Murdock purchased the business and became Dealer Principal, making her the 4th generation Murdock.

In recent years, Murdock’s have invested in Ford training along with purchasing special tools and diagnostic equipment, making it possible to service most makes and models of motor cars.
